When the mind is full of negative ideas then the natural state of being well is jeopardized and ones self worth falls into question. This separation from self causes the emotion of depression to come forward directing you towards the state of mind where powerlessness can be found. This field of nothingness flows alongside the field of positive expectation, you just do not see the positive expectation because you are blinded by focus on the field of depression and self worthlessness.
To access the field of "well-being" all you need do is shift your attention towards desire. It is desire that causes positive expectation, it is the desire that causes better emotions, it is the desire that causes self worthiness.
The only reason anybody finds it difficult to focus on desire is because they have practiced a way of focusing on everything BUT their desires.
Each time you practice focusing on desire and reaching for a state of "well-being," then the next time you bring that subject to mind, you will find it easier to access and more comfortable to be there in that NEW state of mind.
Your state of mind comes from the choices you have made and are currently making in terms of WHERE to place your attention.
Any focus of attention creates the "emotional state of mind," the link between the two is EMOTION by having THOUGHT = Mind with Vibration.
When you understand that it is the mind that creates emotion, then you can steer yourself towards better emotions by holding more desires for self, shifting yourself to a better feeling place and state of mind.
You have the freedom to choose from WITH-IN the confines of your mind, learning it is not so much about what is OUT THERE.
